So I was planning on trying out the nightlife here and going and having a few drinks at a recommended bar, but every time I try I just end up changing my mind since it's not really my scene. So tonight I decided on checking out the local night market here. I'd been to a few other night markets, but the one here is miles above the rest. More people than I'd seen in my entire stay here show up in full force to buy and sell in these wonderful open air night markets.

I was there for about 15 minutes when I found myself wanting to take the pictures, so I got a tuk tuk back to my room and told him to stay outside and that I'd be right back. I then drove back to the market giving him probably the quickest money he's ever gotten as a driver. Taking photo's, I stopped along the many food stands and probably tried 5 different meals for under $3, plus the pineapple and asian pear.....  On my way out I decided to video my walk by letting the camera hang naturally around my neck...

How much did it cost to rent the tuk tuk on your 30 mile trip? I know a cab fare in Boston would cost around $50. or more. I'm looking forward to seeing your videos in Mukdahan night market and the ufo rock shapes. Do you still find it strange that the Thailand people still look at you differently? How did you like the food in the night market?

FYI: My brother Tommmy is following your blog. Nana is going to my brothers house for Thanksgiving and he will most likely show nana your blog and some of your pictures and videos that you have taken so far.

Take care

Love, Papa

LOL ... There everyhwere here. Pretty much 50% of the rooms will have a few on the ceiling at night, mostly the small ones. But walking the sidewalks there are some big ass ones lol.

Theres pics of the mall on wikipedia. but i cant take photo's inside the mall. It's illegal for some reason.... Along with government buildings.

I had to literally beg a security guard to let me photo the ronald mcdonald because it was inside a mall.
